Descriptive Essay Volleyball Game - 750 Words
I felt like I could do anything. The moment was extremely surreal. I hadnââ¬â¢t accomplished anything so arduous in my life. The crowdââ¬â¢s cheers were thundering through my body. I had so much adrenaline coursing through my veins that I wasnââ¬â¢t even weary. People were jumping up and down, screaming in victory, and clapping so loud I couldnââ¬â¢t hear myself think. I couldnââ¬â¢t believe that I had just won the State Championship volleyball game. My seventh grade volleyball team had a fantastic season. We had won every game except one leading up to the postseason. We were so successful since we worked well together. We exceeded in multiple areas on and off the court. After we won all of the Regional and Sectional games, we were headed to Tri-Valley on aâ⬠¦show more contentâ⬠¦We had battled with them with all our strength in two sets, for it wasnââ¬â¢t even close (compound). The winning point was a serve into the net by Washington. We had just won the game. The crowd went absolutely wild, and everyone was hugging (compound). My team and I were in a group hug in the middle of the court with our coach. When we turned to the crowd, it erupted with applause (complex). I went over and hugged my best friend, Delaney, and we told each other that we each did outstanding. We then were presented with medals and the State Championship trophy. We all stood huddled on the floor, holding the trophy high above our heads. After that, all the fans and parents came onto the floor. I could tell that my parents were ready to embrace me. ââ¬Å"Congratulations! Iââ¬â¢m so proud of you. You were amazing out there! I love you so much,â⬠said my mother. I squeezed my mother with all of my strength. I was so glad that she was there to watch me. ââ¬Å"Thanks! I love you, too,â⬠I responded. Then my father came up to me and gave me a hug, also. ââ¬Å"Congrats kid! That was awesome,â⬠he said with a grin. ââ¬Å"Thanks!â⬠I said It was time to take the group photo with our trophy. The team gathered in rows and smiled. We took one holding up a one for first place and then with a double U for the win. Then the fan section surrounded us for a group photo. After we took individual photos and the crowd calmed down, we loaded the bus to return to Eureka in victory.
